Holidays

The manual describes how to work with holidays within the local calendar of a specific country. It explains how to create custom holidays, how the automatic generation of standard Czech public holidays works for each year, and how these holidays can be modified. It also includes an explanation of practical situations when it is necessary to move a holiday to another day and thereby change its impact on working and non-working days.

What you will learn in the manual

  • How to create and edit holidays in the local calendar of a specific country, including the option to change standard public holidays according to the employer’s needs.

Purpose

It is used to create any holiday within the Local Calendar of a specific country. Standard Czech public holidays are generated automatically every year. Changes to standard holidays can be used, for example, if a public holiday falls on Wednesday and the employer wishes to set it to Friday. In this case, Wednesday would be a normal working day and Friday would be a public holiday.
